Group fitness is a fun and social place to begin or a great addition to your existing fitness program. Wellfitness has a wide array of group fitness programs, you can choose from beginner programs to hardcore advance programs. Here are some programs we offer: Yoga Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of developing the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with your environment. Practicing yoga creates a strong and flexible body; it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Pilates The Pilates method of body conditioning tones and strengthens core muscle groups, and improves posture and balance. Core strength has proven to heighten body awareness, increase flexibility and control creating an ease of movement in everyday life, as well as helping to prevent future injury. Running Program There are many fitness options, but many would say that nothing compares to a good old-fashioned run. The emergence of run programs in the fitness scene has quickly grown in popularity, providing a new opportunity for locals to exercise and socialize. The Wellfitness running program is distinctive and established, and gets participants excited about running, building camaraderie and fostering friendships in the community. Cardio Fight The secret is Fast Twitch Integration Training. Cardio Fight blasts your fast twitch muscle fibers—the ones with the greatest capacity for change—by taking the most dynamic moves from 6 unique mixed martial arts disciplines and combining them in increasingly intense sequences. You will burn up to 1,000 calories per hour! You’ll be doing Karate/Kung Fu, Capoeira, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai/Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do and Boxing—all in a single workout! My Agenda Fitness - 3 Stage Program STAGE 1: A total body workout comprised of 21 different exercises. Participants must race against the clock to do as many repetitions possible within 2 minutes. The participant then records their results after each exercise. The objective is to be able to complete all 21 exercises without stopping. Once each stage has been mastered the participant will move on to the next stage. STAGE 2: Cardio. This stage will consist of 40 minutes of pure cardio blast which will test your inner cardio soul and push you to your maximum cardio level. Again there are zero breaks so drink up and get ready to sweat. Once you’ve defeated the cardio stage prepare to move on to Stage 3. STAGE 3: Plyometrics. This is the stage that will challenge everything you’ve learned in the previous two stages. The Plyo stage is filled with 45 minutes of continuous explosive movements. You will explode into and out of, this full body plyo workout. This stage will be your greatest physical accomplishment ever!
